WATCH High School is a college preparatory high school with a focus on the total health of all members of the school community. We expose students to all aspects of the health care field and to the variety of career options the industry offers. Our students participate in medical and scientific research internships at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, SUNY Downstate Medical Center and other similar facilities throughout the city.

The 2009-2010 school year is a new and exciting time at WATCH. We implemented a longer school day to provide increased credit accumulation for all students and are offering new elective courses such as Dance, Guitar and Etymology. In addition to the College NOW program, students can also earn college credit for English and Forensic Science through a partnership with Syracuse University. Further, we offer AP classes in Psychology and Biology.

We are proud that in the past year our efforts produced wonderful results with the school receiving an "A" for Student progress on the School's Progress report. Proof that our model works! As we grow, we continue to find new strategies to help our students succeed and live Healthy, productive lives. We look forward to another wonderful year!
